The passive radio charger is small and compact. It provides fast charging and charge retention functions for your Motorola R5 radio in your vehicle. The charging cradle is connected to the vehicle's electrical system. An original belt clip is recommended for secure attachment.

##########New: LED Button for setting the target charge level

The new LED button allows you to easily switch the desired target charge level between 100% and 80%.
Maintaining the charge at 80% helps reduce strain on the battery by keeping the state of charge consistently lower. This helps preserve the battery during daily use and supports long-term capacity retention—especially useful when a full battery charge isn’t needed for every operation.
To switch between charging modes, remove the radio from the charger:

Press and hold the LED button until the desired color lights up:

- Green: 100% charge target
- Yellow-green: 80% charge target

After selection, the light turns off and the selected charge setting is confirmed by a brief flash of the LED in the corresponding color.
As soon as the radio is placed in the charging cradle, the LED indicates the selected setting and the charging process starts automatically.
